Our mission is to provide everyone visiting the Myrtle Beach area with a unique vacation experience worth remembering. we have the expertise and knowledge to help you make the perfect choice.

North Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove

North Myrtle Beach is the best place to visit with your friends and family. If you love the beach, you'll know that Cherry Grove, the northernmost end of North Myrtle Beach, is just perfect for that getaway to the beach.

We have world-class fishing, dining and of course, relaxing. A trip to the beach can be enjoyed while kicking back on your back deck while staying at a lovely vacation rental home, dipping your toes into Hoggs Inlet or wading over the Waites Island at low tide.

If you’re looking to have some fun, there’s plenty of things to do in Cherry Grove. From fishing to dining, you’ll have no trouble finding a good time on the beach.

Shopping...

New to the area is the Coastal North Town center. Just a few minutes by car from anywhere in Cherry Grove, it’s a great place to visit and grab something to eat or get new clothing & home decor. The shopping center features a Hobby Lobby, Ross, TJ Maxx, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Pet Smart, Chipotle, Hickory Tavern, Bojangles, Dickies BBQ along with a full grocery store.

Cherry Grove Pier...

The top attraction in Cherry Grove, the almost 1,000-foot pier is famous for large fish being caught, sharks and other sea life. It’s also a top-rated pier in the state and one of the best along the entire Grand Strand. Rent equipment, purchase bait, and get a license, go catch some fish!  Or just walk on the pier (Small Fee) watch others fish, just relax, or walk to the end and search or dolphins.

Golf Courses...

If you are looking to play golf, check out over 100 golf courses in the SC/NC coastal area. Here, we find the top-rated courses in North Myrtle Beach and the one course in the Cherry Grove area.

Restaurants...

In the North Myrtle Beach area, there is no shortage of different options for seafood restaurants. Below are popular options that we find to be some of the best seafood joints along the North Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove area.

Filet’s – In nearby North Myrtle Beach (overlooking the swing bridge), Filet’s is known for their seafood dishes that delight.

The Shack – Just a minute or two from the beach by car, The Shack is always packed for good reason. Tasty sandwiches and lunch food is why this is a local’s find that’s worth sharing.

Fishing...

If you’re looking to go fishing, check out the Captains at Reel Action Fishing Charters. They charter their boats out of the Anchor Marina in North Myrtle Beach and have been successfully running fishing charters for over 5 years. With three Captains, there’s plenty of options for your charter, but we recommend that you call ahead to make sure that you get your preferred time slot. Check out fishing reports and information at MyrtleBeachFishing.org to see what you’ll catch!

Kayaking & Paddleboarding...

If you want to get out on the water, there are few ways better than with a kayak or paddleboard! We highly recommend you do this at least once during your visit to the beach. Use the Cherry Grove Boat Launch located on 53th Avenue North and go see the beautiful calm marshlands. You can rent kayaks and paddleboards from Great EscapesJ & L Kayaking or Kokpelli Surf & Rentals.

You can combine your kayak trip with a fishing trip too! The Cherry Grove Inlet is home to many types of fish including some with great table fare: Flounder, Redfish & Black Drum. Even without fishing, the trip is a great activity to enjoy during your stay at the beach.

Cherry Grove Oceanfront Park ...

If you’re looking for a small event space that you can rent, the Cherry Grove Oceanfront Park is available from the City of North Myrtle Beach’s Parks Department. The small gazebo can be used for parties, meetings, church gatherings and more after obtaining the proper permissions and permits.

The Beach...

Of course, the beach is one of the best things to do in Cherry Grove! It’s free, real close to our vacation rental and is one of the top reasons to go to South Carolina in the first place. Some of our favorite spots to go to the beach are the access points at the very northern end of the beach.  There are lots of different points to walk onto the beach, but if you’re parking, these are good spots.

Plan A Fun Day Trip...

Visit the beautiful South Carolina & North Carolina areas. A short drive, Wilmington, NC is a popular destination. Visit the Battle Ship or the Bellamy Museum for education and fun things to do with your family. To the south, we highly recommend visiting the Georgetown or Surfside Beach area and going to Brookgreen Gardens, a beautiful nature preserve in the heart of the South Carolina lowcountry. Nearby, the Atalaya Castle shows a rich history of the South Carolina coastline.
